Synopsis:

Din is a working-class college student in Shanghai who wishes to reunite with his childhood friend Li Na, who moved away from their neighbourhood ten years ago with her father, Mr. Wang, and now lives a wealthy life. An elderly man gives Din a teapot one day, and Long, a wish dragon, comes from it. Long informs Din that he will grant three wishes to his master, whoever holds the teapot. Din will be Long's ninth and final master, releasing him from servitude and allowing him to enter the Spirit world. Following that, Din is pursued by a trio of goons lead by a man named Pockets, who was ordered by Mr. Wang to retrieve the teapot in the hopes of salvaging his faltering firm. This is where Din starts his adventures and make the wish dragon fulfilled his three wishes along the way.
